Episode 1 – reezy

While German rapper, singer and producer reezy quickly rose to both critical and popular acclaim with his music in 2019, most of his story remained in the dark for the better part of his young career. Although he comes from a musical family, the course was set for a career in sports early on. In the first episode of Unfiltered he opens up about how everything turned out differently. 

For Red Bull Germany, we developed and realized Unfiltered, a fresh take on serial documentary formats. Unfiltered aims to put the artist’s narrative first. An interview leads us on to create associations between what is told and what was experienced by the artist, visualized by cinematography and animation going hand in hand. With reezy being the pilot for the series, more episodes are to come in 2020.
